Harvest Fest is a free, family-friendly community night hosted by The Breaux Bridge Pentecostals every Halloween. It offers a safe, non-scary alternative to trick-or-treating, with Trunk or Treat, candy, free food, inflatables and games.
-
Harvest Fest is held every year on October 31, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In 2026 that's a Saturday. Gates open at 5:55 PM.
-
On our church grounds at 3454 Main Highway 31, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.
-
Nothing. Admission, food, treats and activities are all completely free.
-
Everyone. Harvest Fest is open to the whole community, and you do not need to attend our church. Bring your friends and family.
-
No. Just come. Everyone receives a free wristband at check-in when you arrive.
-
About 1,167 people came in 2025, up from 873 in 2024. Plan on a lively crowd and arrive early.
-
Gates open at 5:55 PM, and no one can enter before then. Check-in lines can get long, so arriving a little early is a good idea.
-
Park in our main paved parking lot. When it fills, overflow parking is in the field across the street. Sheriff's deputies help direct traffic, so please follow their directions and cross the highway carefully.
-
Every guest, adult or child, gets a free wristband at the Welcome Station. The wristband color shows which inflatables a child can use. Tear-off tabs on the wristband are also your vouchers for food, popcorn and cotton candy, so keep it on all night.
-
Visit the Welcome Station and a team member will help you.
-
Yes, please bring a trick-or-treat bag. We have a limited supply of bags at the Welcome Station for anyone who forgets.
-
Trunk or Treat, inflatables (fun jumps) for every age group, volleyball and football for teens and adults, a photo booth, free food, popcorn, cotton candy and lemonade.
-
Children from walking age through 17. Each inflatable is marked with a wristband color, and kids may use only the ones that match their wristband. Guests 17 and older can enjoy the volleyball and football area behind the inflatables.
Inflatable rules:
A parent or guardian must stay with minors. Use is at your own risk.
No shoes on the inflatables. Socks are required, so pack a pair.
Empty pockets and remove jewelry, keys and glasses.
No food, drinks or gum.
Slide feet-first, and clear the landing area quickly.
No flipping, rough play or climbing the walls.
Follow staff instructions at all times.
-
Yes. Every guest's wristband includes tear-off vouchers for a free serving of jambalaya, a bag of popcorn and a bag of cotton candy. Hand a voucher to each station.
-
Yes. Each trunk gives the same number of pieces to every trick-or-treater, so candy lasts for everyone through the night. Please only visit each trunk once.
-
Safety is our top priority. The fire department, Acadian Ambulance and the Sheriff's Department are on site for the whole event. Our security team walks the grounds all night, and security members also watch the inflatable areas.
Are the volunteers screened? Yes. Our volunteer teams are scheduled in advance, and volunteers wear a Serve shirt or a lanyard so you can find them. Trunk hosts from outside our church complete a background check.
-
Portable restrooms (port-o-potties) are available for guests; follow the restroom signs. Our church buildings are closed to guests during the event.
-
If weather forces us to cancel or reschedule, we'll announce it on our Facebook and Instagram pages, @thebridgeloves. Please check there before you head out.
-
Yes! Costumes are welcome, but Harvest Fest is a family-friendly, non-scary event. Please leave scary or gory costumes, masks and props at home.
-
No. Please leave pets at home. Approved service animals are permitted.
-
Harvest Fest is held outdoors on grass and uneven ground, so please plan accordingly. Strollers and wheelchairs with larger wheels will handle the terrain best.
-
Lost and found is at the Welcome Station. After the event, call the church office at (337) 332-2089.
-
Yes. In-kind donations such as gift cards, meal vouchers, candy and supplies are a big help. Email admin@thebridgeloves.com or call (337) 332-2089 to arrange a donation.
